Favorite spot on campus back in the day? The Rockroom. It was different then, there were low little tables you could put your feet down on and just sit around and talk.
Today? "I'm mainly in my office working…the beautiful little tables are gone."
Favorite campus tradition when you were a student? The faculty would often invite the students for dinner, a drink if they were old enough. It was a common practice, especially with the Jesuit faculty.
Today? Alpha Sigma Nu induction ceremony. It's a beautiful candle-lit ceremony.
Favorite class you took? "God and Man in Contemporary Literature." It was jointly taught by Father Robert Lacas and Father Carl Starkloff. It was a joint English and theology class bout theological ideas in contemporary literature.
Favorite to teach? Screenwriting and Playwriting. They are really high energy classes. Either you write a full length play or screenplay or I fail you. We probably have more full length scripts floating around campus….you'd have to go to California or NYU to find more.
Who was your favorite professor? Father Robert Lacas of the English Department.
What's the greatest change you've seen in RU? We have girls now.
