Student Senate Update

Between the revision of the alcohol policy as well as our own constitution, the Student Senate at Rockhurst has already begun another busy semester.
Another of our current projects, in addition to those noted above, includes a push to create a united effort with Voices for Justice to create a Sustainability Committee on campus. The committee will not only help better the Rockhurst community, but help improve the community around us as well.
Additionally, a group of senators is currently working with Bill Bassett to research the possibilities of extending the Livetext e-portfolio program, currently used in the Helzberg School of Management, to students in all departments of the university.
We have an exciting semester ahead, and as always, our door is always open! Feel free to visit our office in Massman 9, or to e-mail us at senate@rockhurst.edu . We look forward to serving you!
