We want you!
Are you a blogger? Would you like to expand your audience beyond Facebook notes? Now, through our advanced knowledge of computer programming (read: a quick email to tech support), we have blogging capabilities on our site.
The Sentinel is looking for student bloggers with unique interests to contribute to this blog on a regular basis. The possibilities are endless. You can talk about your student organization or a unique hobby you may have. You can provide thoughtful or insightful commentary on politics or you can provide commentary on your favorite sports team. We'll even take anyone that rambles about mundane daily life, like giving your dog Pinky a bath.
Whatever the case may be, please let us know if you're interested: sentinel@rockhurst.edu. We'll set you up with a username and a password, and you can blog away as much as you'd like!
As always, we are looking for student writers and other workers for the paper. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! WE WILL PAY! We are not the Kansas City Star, nor do we pretend to be. Our paper is a learning experience for student writers to build a portfolio or simply to publish articles for fun. We encourage new writers, regardless of previous experience with high school papers. The Sentinel tries to include as many aspects of student life as possible, and with more writers, our job is much easier. We're also looking for people to sell ads, help with layout and work online. Email us and let us know if you're interested. As for the paying part, you'll get a cut of the ad revenue we bring in as a paper if you work for us.
