You have been playing basketball for a long time. What has captivated you about the game?
The teamwork aspect has always captivated my interest. It's a sport that you can't win at all on your own. You are dependent on the other players on the court.

As a junior and starter, do you feel a greater leadership role on the team?
As a leader on the team, I feel that my role is the motivator and keeping everyone focused on the end goals that we are trying to achieve. I feel responsible for keeping everyone determined to turn a past losing program into a winning program.

What is your favorite basketball moment? Your most embarrassing?
Both occurred in high school. My favorite was hitting the game winning three to send us to the state tournament. My most embarrassing came during warm-ups. We wore long warm-up pants. I not only tripped on them once and fell on my face but I actually did it about three times by the end of my high school career.

If you could play a sport besides basketball, what would it be?
I would play volleyball. I was actually supposed to play volleyball here at RU along with basketball. I had to give up v-ball due to a shoulder injury the summer before freshman year. I love that it is a high energy game and still enjoy watching our team.

Pub food or Planet Sub? Pub food.

Favorite place to go in K.C? Loose Park in the springtime.

Favorite place to play? Mason-Haplin Fieldhouse - there is nothing like playing for your home crowd.
