The Rockhurst men's basketball team finished out their tough season. On Feb. 7, they fell on the road at UMSL 48 - 64. After a win against Missouri S&T in Rolla 83 - 78 on Feb. 9, they dropped two straight 47 - 74 at home against Drury on Feb. 12 and 71 - 95 at Southern Indiana on Feb. 14. They picked another win at home vs Missouri S&T 69 - 57 on Feb. 21, but then dropped their final home game of the season in a tough 70 - 71 loss against UMSL on Feb. 23. They dropped their final two road games 83 - 88 at Quincy on Feb. 28 and 71 - 82 at SIUE on Mar. 1. Their final record was 9 - 18 (5 - 14 in GLVC).
The women's basketball team did not fare much better than the men as they finished their schedule. While they picked up a 75 - 66 win at UMSL, they went on a 7 game losing skid afterward to end the season. A 55 - 69 loss at Missouri S&T was followed by a home loss to Drury 69 - 81. Then the lady hawks lost a heartbreaking 61 - 63 game at Southern Indiana. They dropped their final two home games, 52 - 70 against Missour S&T and 73 - 78 against UMSL. They lost their last two games 72 - 77 at Quincy and 60 - 81 at SUIE. Their final record was 8 - 19 (3 - 16 in GLVC).
The baseball team lost 5 - 16 to Emporia State on Feb. 25. They split a doubleheader at Southwest Baptist on Mar. 1 losing the first game 6 - 7 before winning 16 - 8 in the second game. Mike Walczuk led the team with 2 homeruns and 6 RBI in the second game. The following day the team lost at home 4 - 14 against Augustana, S.D.
