Lee's "Disease" Hits Rockstock
The weather is finally starting to warm, and finals week is finally upon us. However, one final rite stood before the gates of Hell Week opened upon the Rockhurst semester. The Convo was decorated, the stage erected, the funnel cakes were baking, and smooth, soulful melodies were wafting through the air.It could only be one thing - Rockstock 2008, Baby!

Senior PerspectivesAdvice from AboveAs a freshman coming into college you don't really know what you are getting into. Soon you realize that all the movies you have seen featuring college life isn't exactly what it is like at Rockhurst University. It usually takes some time to figure out all of the little things about the school, like the fact that Rockhurst security officers are often referred to as "Rockcos.

Give the People What they WantAnother Rockstock…another missed chance.
Well, Rockstock has come and gone once again. All that is left is the trash in the Convo Center, the misplaced multi-colored Frisbees and the unsettling feeling Ben Lee left among many RU students.
Oh, and absolutely NO PERCUSSION.
Was Ben Lee bad? In a way, no.

Students turn on the cat walk for fair tradeThe mission to remain socially aware remains strong in Rockhurst students. The latest example came down the runway April 10.
A year ago, the idea for a Fair Trade Fashion Show was born through a brainstorming session between junior David LeFebvre and former RU student Andy Julo.

Senior Perspectives:A Wild RideIn my four years at Rockhurst, I have experienced most of what college had to offer, and while I won't freely disclose all information, I would like to share some of my memories I've had here. I've taken classes that I have enjoyed immensely, and I have taken those courses I would just rather forget… you know the ones.

The Hawk FilesSteve BraunStarting shortstop Steve Braun provided a great deal to the Hawks with his hardwork mentality and skills to match. This season Braun, a junior, finished with a .319 avg., 33 runs scored (tied for team lead). His 19 doubles and 25 RBI's ranked first and third on the team.

Sports UpdateThe men's baseball team continued their early season struggles down the stretch as the year drew to a close. From April 9 through April 20, the team went 3 - 8. In the losses during this time, the offense managed only five or more runs twice. The three wins, however, were all blowouts, 18-6 over Southern Indiana, 12-7 at Washburn, and 6-0 at Missouri-St.
